Inaugural Somersfield Golf Tournament
In October 2009, Somersfield supporters took to the greens at Belmont Hills for our First Annual Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament went to the Somersfield bursary and scholarship fund. Thanks to the generosity of our local community we raised $26,000 for Somersfield students.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our lead cedar sponsors Pricewaterhouse Coopers and AirCare/Daikin, our general palmetto sponsors Miles Market, Minglewood Ltd and BCS - IBM's Bermuda Agency, our Bermudiana golf cart sponsor D & J construction and our hole and competition sponsors Butterfield and Vallis, Christopher/Stevens Family, Bothelo Wood Architects, Arch Re, Validus Re, Ace and KPMG.
Thanks to the contributions of the following companies we were able to offer participants an exciting goodie bag and many prizes: AXIS, Atlantic Stitches, The Body Shop, New World Wines, KPMG, BAS Serco, Elbow Beach Hotels, Arch Re, Renaissance Reinsurance, Bank of N.T. Butterfield, Miles Market, Butterfield and Vallis, Tops, Allied World, Argo Limited, Van Buren Esso Service Station, Aesthetic Skin Clinic, Graphix Signs, BGA and Dunkley’s Dairy.
